In Toronto's downtown east corridor (Jarvis/Parliament/Queen/Gerrard) there are several shelters housing hundreds of men, women and children. Everyday the residents are asked to leave so they can clean the dormitories. Residents are often asked to leave from 8 a.m. and are allowed to return after 4 p.m. There are only a few places residents can go during this time. Many go to the city parks to spend the day. Two major parks in this area are Allan Gardens and Moss Park. These are their stories.
